Default need advice on motor mounts

i got a thunder tiger 21 pro used off ebay, motor seems fine,it was to be a back up motor, the only problem is the motor mounts on the engine dont match up with the holes in my buggy(rc8) there to close together,some-one told me that was because it is an older motor(it has a blue head not a red).does anybody know where i go from here? is there a univer. motor mount i can use or will i have to fab my own up.

thanks

I used to run Thunder Tiger stuff and found that the exhaust port is not standard size. I can't remember if its bigger or smaller. Its not a great amount but enough to cause some sealing issues. May need a Thunder Tiger header as well. I would check it out BEFORE you actually need it in a hurry.
