Good. Finally some info on this event. I have been looking all over the net for anything pertaining to this race. We are really looking forward to to the trip there. Just checked the 10 day weather forecast for St. Louis though, it's not looking good.

Hey guys, I'm a member of the Dirt Burners Club in St. Louis. The area where the track is located is a strange area. The track itself is one of the highest points in this area and is the last to flood. The picture above is taken at the lowest point in that area and always floods first. Members were at the track earlier today because there are more than one way to the track and they flood at different water levels. As of tonight, only the right corner of the track is under water and its not under a lot water. The river forecast is predicting the river to recede tonight and tomorrow. For anymore information, you can go to the site speedy G linked above.

I would not put any stock in the forcasts unless they say 100% chance for rain. In the past two weeks they have called for rain several times and all we got was a sprinkle or two. St. Louis this time of year is a guess for anyone to try and predict the weather.

Yeah looks like the weather may be ok. I seen it was about a 40% chance Sat and Sun. We can't wait to leave Fri morning. This is probably the biggest race we have ever attended and we are really looking forward to it. That is why I have been so animate about what the weather is going to do, we want to do it so bad but so much relies on the weather. Oh well, looking to have a great time and can't wait.

R/C Dirt Balls has been updated, as has Neo-Buggy, to reflect the on going hard work and dedication of the Dirt Burners club and crew. We caused quite a stir with that photo, but I was assured today by club members that the track will be dry soon and all efforts are being taken to restore the track in order to be ready for this weekend's event. If anyone knows about combating track waters, its these guys.

To all Entries for the RC Pro Series Midwest Round 1. We have decided that due to the current conditions of the track and the pit areas after the flood, that the race has to be postponed. The rescheduled date is June 19-21. If you are not able to make it that weekend, please e-mail me with the request for a refund. I spoke to Carlton last night and there were a bunch of people that were backing out of the race because of this situation. We want to make sure that everyone has a great time at out facility and felt that at this time we could not provide that due to the water. The forecast for the rest of the week is not favorable and helped make the decision a little easier.

Sorry for the inconvenience

Hats off to the guys that run the show down there! I think that the desition to postpone the race is a good one and the fact that the info got out and to other places on the internet so quickly and effectivly is amazing. We were planning on leaving Friday morning so the fast info is greatly appriciated. I hate that we can't do it this weekend, we were really looking forward to it but we will do it the 19th. Thanks again Dirtburners for a job well done.
