Storing Buggy Tires:
1 gal Zip-loc bag
light spray of simple green or any all purpose cleaner
a good scrubbing and rinse
then towel dry with light coating of WD-40 on rag.
WD40 is a solvent that repels water away from the subject. With a light coating of the wd40 and inside a zip-loc bag keeps the rubber clean/fresh/soft for their next application. which is typically 2-3 days or even 6 days depending on how often you race.
Another note when sealing the bag leave alittle opening at the top and push as much air out of the bag before finally sealing. This will make sure that no extra moisture is left in the bag.
Sidenote:
If you plan on re-using the bags make sure that they are free of dirt/water or anything other than tires/wheels and the least bit of air in the bag.
