both promise good performances
but heard Tamiya has several weak spots..
.... which one to choose ??

You've spent enough time in the Z01B thread to know how well the car performs for many people. Add to that; not ONE PERSON has been writing in to talk about breakage of parts, cheap quality or terrible customer service. Quite the opposite actually. Steve O'donnell himself reads the thread and personally contacts many of the people supporting his creation. Who else does that?

I haven't read up on the Tamiya car, but it DOES look good. Lutz seems to have good luck with it. He's very nice and open - I'd ask him directly if he's had any issues.

Just get the OD buggy you will be very pleased!!!

And yes Steve O is the man.....He goes way beyond with cust service

I think the biggest problem with Od is parts availability. Now i dont' say that because LHS dont' carry Od parts. but because tower is so slow in shipping them out.

it takes up to 3 days for tower to actually ship items out from time or order.

But even then,, get the team kit. lol..
