Gonna put a brand new p/s in my V Spec and don't have the factory settings, anyone have them ??

Main needle (top end) 3 turns out from fully closed.
Metering needle (bottom end) flush with the ball link body.
Check this out.

Just look down the list, find your engine and download the manual. Hope this helps.

Your engine prob had no compression the other day.

with a freshy fresh rebuild i bet it runs fine.

STOCK settings for break-in
Idle: 1-1/4 turn from closed
LSN: 4 turns from closed
MRN: 3-1/4 (10 o'clock)
HSN: 3-1/2

RACE tune starting point
Idle: 1 turn from closed
LSN: 3-1/2 turns from closed
MRN: 3-1/4 (10o'clock)
HSN: 3 turns from closed

you know what the weird thing thing is that before I started messing with the needles, it ran perfect for 3 tanks of practice and two qualif, just sounded a little fat, should have left it the way it was, now I will never know how much longer it would have lasted (right now 7 1/2 gal mark)
