Default boiling rc8 arms

i heard you can boil rc8 arms to make them more flexable and less likely to break, is this true, if so how should i do it?

Its best to make something to keep the arms off the bottom of the pot but just boil them for ten minutes, turn off the pot and when the water cools pull the arms out and they will be much more flexible.
