Actually next time, if you call the poison control center, they will tell you what to do. I know most people think it's just for Humans, but they know what to do for animals also. My Female Shepard swallowed a penny and I know they are deadly to dogs so we called them. They told us to mix Peroxide and water and make her drink it. It will cause your dog to vomit. She did and it came up. I don't remember the ratio of Peroxide/water but it wasn't much. I think she had to drink like a table spoon of the mixed solution. Just call them and they will tell you. It might be something that they don't want to induce vomiting and instead would have you give the dog something to absorb it and neutralize it. I'm glad your puppy if fine, but if something like this happens again, call the PCC.
