Default ninja mr21 b01a sugestions

Just wondering what pipes, plugs, and restristors people were running in these motors, and what they thought about them? I just inquired 2 of these almost brand new. Ran one last weekend and loved it but want to know some tips to make it better.

Thanks DREW

Hey Drew this is CREWS from Wolf Pack i run a Ninja at Wolf Pack and have been running a 086 pipe but the motor did not have anuff bottom end so i am trying a 063 and i all so have a 053 so far i like the 063 lots of bottom end and lots of top end i will be running at the track this weekend if you wont to try some of the pipes i have.

I have all so been running a 8 restrict helps in flue but don't hurt the motor on power the best i can tell.

Thanks guys. I will try these suggestions. I have been running a JP3, os p7, and the 7.5 restrictor at about 230 degres and getting 8 min with plenty of power. What kind of run times and temps do you all get out of this motor?

Crews, i know your car is fast, heck you always win the race to the fence at the end of the straight. I wont be at the pack this weekend, we have our elect. series at allisons, but i will be there for the next points race on the 2nd. Hope the blue groove is still alive

The MSR1005 pipe/header work great with this engine, to bad it is no longer made. A 053 with long header is also good. My son runs a 7mm restircter and an OD 97T plug. Our will run 260-270 on the Exergren gun with loads of power and good smoke yet.

i have just picked up a brand new one of these and i have yet to break it in. i was reading some old posts about people having to re shim the head. is this neccessary? also, i have some picco and a ninja turbo plugs. will these fit? i thought that GRP and OS had different tapers. so if i have a ninja plug, is it GRP or OS style?
