Its prett good. Has a good engine, good radio and electronics. It isnt a take it out of the box and run run run type of truck though. It needs a 12t vented clutch bell as stock is way voergeared, and dynamite maxlife shoes. The arms are kind of weak though.

Change to Aftermarket truggy premounts, fixed some of teh gearing issue, and they are WAY lighter. The stock wheels and tires are very heavy

There are no tranny problems. It is a gear ratio problem. Standard 1/8 center diff. Rock solid lst2 front and rear diffs.
I actually switched to an 8ight 48t spur gear, used a 12t clutch bell and used truggy tires on 17mm wheels. Brings gearing to a manageable ratio.
Use dynamite max life clutch shoes and you will be all set.
The only other thing you need would be a good steering servo with lots of torque. Double servo setup is junk.

i wouldnt say the double servo is junk i dont mind mine but i am running dual 9000t's and trust me theres no stopping or sluggish steering isuess just like any RTR servo upgrades are a priority

Well no, that would not be a junk set up if you have 600 oz of tq vs about 160.

A single z650 would be better then two z590's.
