RMV 2.5 speed carbon shoes
Has anyone tried installing the RMV extended carbon shoes of the 2.5 speed clutch on a convensional 3 shoe flywheel?
Will these work or we need the complete set?
The RMV shoes have more contact area and should hold better.

I've been using the standard Speed 2.5 carbon clutch shoes, not the extended ones, on a mugen mbx5 flywheel without any issues. They're super durable!

I liked 1.0mm springs best, specially when traction was not so high. Very controlable. On high traction surfaces like grass etc. I'd prefer 1.1mm springs.
Never used Mugen's carbon shoes though since mine came with alum. shoes...

There are 2 different versions of the 2.5 speed clutch on the market.
One is the normal Speed 2.5 and the other one ist the extended version which is meant to be used in truggys or trucks (and bigger engines like .28)
As far as i know the extended version got a biger flywheel diameter and has bigger clutch shoes and needs special extended clutch bells which are only produced by rmv.
The parts of the 2 versions are not interchangable so you have to buy the normal Speed 2.5 shoes.
