Default Quick question about a VSPEC???

I have a VSPEC and replaced the sleeve and piston with the speed piston and sleeve. Do I have to get another backplate. Or are they the same??

I know that it is black on the speed and not on the Reg VSPEC. But that should be the only reason. THe bore and the stroke is the same so I think it will be ok. Correct me if Im wrong

The only difference is the anti-friction coating on the speed..same dimensions
