It is a good little motor. Paired with an 086 it will run pretty good. Prolly one of the best in it's price range.

What OS are you trying to compare it to? the VG or a v-spec based engine? The nova will blow thw VG away, but won't come close to a v-spec.

Yeah then the nova is a much better bet.

As for the jp-1 it is really not the pipe for that engine. It really needs a high end pipe like the 086(jp-1 is a low end pipe). I reccomend the dynamite pipes(hardcoated versions are super durable and cheap too)

If you are looking at OS do NOT get a VG Not worth It, Really I am not a Nova Fan But the VG is not somthin I would Buy, I won one and gave it away.

+1 one of the junkiest engines ever made IMO. There are lots of RTR engines that could beat a vg in preformance and longevity.

IMO the VG doesn't deserve to be an OS. I absolutely love thier v-spec based engines, but they really dropped the ball with the vg. Most of the vg's I have seen, lacked power, and only lasted a couple of gallons.

Yup and I believe that is where the problems come from. The old RG's were much better than the vg.

I was wondering what pipe you would recommend for a Go Tech 5 port and a Nova P5X. I have a JP-1 and a Sport Works HT.

Thanks !
