i keep having problems stripping gears. first my plastic spur gear stripped and now ive halfway stripped my bell gear and broke chunks out of my steel spur gear. i lined it up and everything. feed a thin sheet of paper through it and it was good but while driving it seems to unline itself. any suggestions???

What car are you talking about???

On larger pitch gears you should double the paper if using it to set your gear mesh. Maybe even looser if your car has a lot of chassis flex.
