Ofna carstand mod!

Ok lets face it...I love my Ofna carstand, and i've been using the same one for something like 7 years. [CLICK THE PICTURES TO BLOW THEM UP  ]

But ever since I started racing Truggy, my stand has not been quite high enough for the tires to clear... not letting a truggy freely spin. In a flash of ingenuity that I rarely present, I had an idea last night.

First take a tall spacer for an 1/8 scale shock [all you suckers using threaded shocks are SOL] and cut the little pull nipple off of it.

Then squeeze that sucker together and stuff it in the hole...

PROFIT!

Hope this helps many of you out, I know it's worked great for me so far

I did that a long time ago, when we hade to butcher a buggy into a truggy & used coolant hose instaed of clips. Why didnt I think of something so easy?.I like the way you have to use a little effort turn the stand without it turning while your trying to wrench, the way a bearing stand will.Still using the same stand I bought 7-8 years ago & still like it best of all the ones I've bought since.

I love mine also..The little parts tray is da bomb..too bad the shock holders where made for the original tiny shocks that are extinct.
