Cool

We made our own link type front end. After the testing it made the car turn more smoother and really improved the handling over bumbs."

What did you use as the stand off mount at the shock tower?

Can you post more pics of the stone guard/ 808 body mod.

Glad to see so many others are staying strong with the X2 I seem to be the only one running the buggy in my area

does the rear chassis brace from the x2 buggy longer than the x1x cr braces?

yes, use the rear brace from the x1 crt. I bought the king headz braces front and rear. had the rear break on me. But the rear crt is a perfect fit for the x2 buggy. And the front is the same x1 buggy.

I still run my X1 buggy for practice days and my x2 for race days. Its definitely worth switching!! They are not lying when they say 'more steering'. Its like a sharper knife

Alright slightly confusing myself, i have an X2 running with the X1 pinion and ring gears in front and rear diffs, but it has the 44t spur, running a 13t clutch bell, this is the way the buggy came when i boughtit off of a local racer, it works but not right, I have the spiral cuts but the backlash was set wrong and they are ate up (previous owner). Should i run the bigger spur off the x1 with those or just run what i got, will the bigger spur work with the chassis, or shouldi just wait till they come off back order and run my x1 completly

Thanks
Kasey

Default new out of the box

just hit the track with the x2 this weekend. would have to say that is alittle better then the x1cr, but i am having problems under accelration with the car getting really lose. Setup is 5,5,2 Stock springs, 400 in front and 200 in rear. 3.0 rear block Camber -2 all the way around new rb mods go tech 7 port with the stock clutch stuff in the box. Changed rear chassis brace from alloy to plastic. This help some, however not enough. Car jumps really good and handles rough area good. Just to lose or really twitchy out of the hole. Any help would be nice. Like alot of you guys have said its hard to find jammins on the east coast so exchanging setups is out of the question.

I found a little of this too. I am running the yellow springs in the rear with the shocks mounted on the inner rear shock tower holes with a 2.5 rear sway. I just tried 1k in my rear today. I was lovin it.

I own 5 go tec's. try changing the clutch springs to .95's rb modded engines are really powerful. I went down to the modded 3 port. It still whips the car around, just not as violently. I also use kyosho big bore shock pistons. I believe 8 hole 1.3s or 1.4's I can't remember. I will look up and post. One other thing, that is the ride height. I set mine at 30 rear/29 front. I use losi oil and after you run it for 2-3 tanks the oil will heat up and make the axle levels sag. I just raise the ride height back to the above specs. I never vary the oil front to rear by more then 5weight. Like 45frnt/40rear. Just remember everyone likes their car setup for your driving style. Just keep making little changes till your comfortable with the setup. I have blue frnt springs/white rear. I tried other combo's but that seems the best for me.
