Default Novarossi N21R anyone heard of this engine??

I was looking for a budget club racer engine, and was thinking of the Novarossi 2001BF ($150), but then I stumbled on the N21R.

I've never heard of it before, but it looks really good and the price is very tempting! It's supposedly 2009 spec, but I can't find it on the Nova website.

You can find it for sale at speedymodels.com

I just can't find any info about it on the web...anyone heard of it?

Thanks!!

The N21R is the new 2001bf. Its Nova's buget 3port motor. great mill for backup or short track needs.

looks to be the same as the n21b limited w/ writing on the head

115ft is short in my book, most tracks I run at are 150+. Either way the nova 3ports are great buget motors. good power and will last many gallons like all other novas. Another option is the RBS3, about the same power and the quality is there for sure.

I was looking at the Nova 3 port as well but was thinking about trying the
Axe Rossi Sport Off Road 7 Port Engine. Only a few more bucks and the little I've read is all good. Anyone able to chime in and compare the Nova and Axe Rossi Sport?

Also I saw on Amain they just listed the Nova 2000 BF.

Whats the diff between the 2001BF and the 2000BF limited edition (which is on backorder)????

From what i was explained, the updated and limited version comes with the different carb ( i think the one from p5) and i beleive the p5 case which has a larger rear bearing.. Power is the same..

thanks guys for your help!

I ordered the N21R and got it the other day.

I tookm it apart for inspection, and its got the same crankcase as the 2001BF, and same composite carb, is a 3 port, no fancy milling on the crank or sleeve, and is 2008 production.

I got it for $175.00 from the UK.

Here it is installed on my new Losi 8ight 1.0 (3PKS coming on the way )...
