Easiest way is to get a sharpie and mark BDC on the flywheel but if you have a start box you can either get a screwdriver, take the glow plug out and push the screwdriver down till it hits bottom, or just "feeling" it.

Just take your glow plug out and insert a small straw or something similiar. Rotate your engine until your straw keeps moving up. Just as it move up and stops, that's your TDC. Then it should start moving down and then stops, that's your BDC. If you want you can mark your flywheel so you have an easy reference as to where these points are just by looking at your flywheel.

The last time I felt for the bottom, she threw me out of the house.
