Default tilted engine

what difference does it do?

can you do this with any engine? or just revo 1

how would you go about doing this ?

it brings the weight of the motor towards the center line of the car

As far as I know there are only 5 vehicles at the time that you can tilt the engine.

Revo
New Tamiya Buggy
New Tamiya Truggy
Hobao (ofna) Hyper 9
Hobao (ofna Hyper mini-ST..

you cannot use the angled engine design on any other vehicle, as it needs to be designed that way with the other parts moved to compensate for the tilted engine..all your linkages are different as well as dozens of other moved parts>


The idea of the slanted engine ( which is caused by the mounting bracket) is to give the car a better weight distribution and a better center of gravity..This should mean better car handling and better jumping as the car is more balanced..The difference might not be enough for you to notice, but in sure seems to be working out pretty good for the factories that are using them

make that 6 cars cause the sh z-car also has a tilted engine mount.
