Default Axial .28 MOTOR PROBLEM

Hi I have an Axial .28 motor that has idle problems. When I start the motor the idle runs normal but after I hit the gas and let it go back to idle it runs really high. Im not sure what the problem is so it would be highly appreciated if some could help. Thanks

well depending on how much use the motor has already seen ,1st reset the needles to factory setting for break-in and retune if your still having the idle problem take the high speed needle apart and check the rubber seal for cracks then do the same to the low speed needle then check the carb seal to thecrankcase make sure its properly seated and tightened .hopes this helps

take the carb apart and seal the o-rings with carb sealant that you can get at your LHS. put it back togther, let it sit overnight to let the sealant cure. set needle 2½ turn out on bottom needle, and 2½-3 turns out on top needle. then tune accordingly.

for giggles throw some around the carb base, and back plate

make sure your throttle is returning correctly/not binding.
