Default Team Magic M1B buggy. Is it worth to buy one?

Hi guys I am looking for a new buggy: I saw the Team Magic M1B on sale at RCMart but is it worth or is it better to wait for the B8RS or purchase a hyper 9? I know there is a large thread about the M1B in this section and I have read most of it. Is the M1B too much outdated or still worth for competition? What about parts? Let me know guys. I love the design of this car. Very low CG and very innovative!

That is not the correct answer. I like to know why I shouldn't get the M1B? Quality? Breaking parts? Parts available? Sure I could get B8RS but It looks like a conventional buggy like the MP9, RC8 etc. Also not many shops are carrying it already. Anybody knows a good online shop in Taiwan for Team Magic?

the new car is just more reliable and faster.
i had the M1B and the M1B Turbo and although they were fast they had bugs they were still working out. TRUST ME, you will be happier with the new car.

This is team magic's shopping site, they ship worldwide:

just some durablity issues... fuel tank was one. suspension was never just great...

what feature are you not getting on the new car that you want from the old car? The fuel tank position is one major difference and the radio tray held in by clips is another but both of those had their problems.

Also WAY more adjustments on the new car. the M1 you couldnt change rear tower camber position at all...

why not, because on this car, you cannot go more faster and u will spend more money. any way, b8 is new car, im talking regarding the mb1 and the turbo. try the b8 and tell us how was it, but me, i will never take chances. experience makes me stop this car.

I think the B8RS looks awesome - has anyone done a brushless conversion on it yet? That would be how I run it but don't know if it's a good setup. For one, the body looks pretty low so I don't know if a decent lipo would fit. Also don't know if a plastic center spur from Losi or Kyosho would work. Anyone have more info on that? Sorry for the hijack.
