Wish me luck

Haven't been in a race for 14 years and this will be my first even 1/8 scale race. I'm making a 2 hour trip down to Awesome R/C tomorrow to run Sportsman buggy

Slow is fast

To finish first, first you must finish.

Good Luck and have fun. That should be a good race. I have to work tomorrow night or I would be there.

I remember my first couple of races. Half way through the race, my hand would usually start shaking. Throttle/brake control went out the window.

Thanks guys. I'm not nervous, exctied as hell though. I've got a backup car and plenty of parts. Just spent the last week going though both cars, everything's nice and clean and ready to rip

I haven't raced since the mid 90's and used to race elec TC, 4WD, 2WD, NT offroad so I'm familiar with the scene. Ran in the ROAR gas nats back in the day, finished in the C main. Never ran the Nitro Stadium truck much so I wasn't nearly as nice with it as I was my XX-4 and Street Weapon

It's all about just finishing and taking care of your equipment when you first start out. Some day I will take my own advice and stop breaking stuff every race

Finished 2nd in my first qualifier, broke with about a minute left in my second then due to come confusion I wasn't put in a main but at least I got my entry fee back. All in all it was a great day, got a lot of track time and most importantly lots of good practice.
