No, Stick with the brand name factories that you know:

Hot Bodies
CEN, etc, etc...You will have a much better quality ride and parts availability will be better..The best thing to do is go to your Local Hobby Shop and see what they sell..Buy something you can walk in and get parts for anytime

No, they are made with low qaulity materials and hobby shops don't carry parts for them. So, they will break easily and then you won't be able to get parts to fix them (not easily at least).
