ST-R body on ST-RR will it work?

Hey, getting a ST-RR soon and my LHS has a NIP st-r body kicking around somebody never bought.. Just wondering if it will work? i noticed the part numbers are different so maybe the ST-R body is too short? thanks

it will work the body mount holes will just be off, IMO i prefer the looks of the r body to the rr

Jaco,

The body will fit.

What you need to do is use the plastic servo tray posts (that we usually throw away) Remove the rear mount from the shock tower, screw the posts (only 2 can be used) to the body mount, then mount the mount/posts back on the shock tower. This moves the body mount forward enough to use the STR body.

ST-R body on ST-RR

I redrilled the body post holes so as the body is more centred on the chassis. I think it looks ok
