Clear Coat Paint Recommendations

I painted a losi 2.0 body white and I am going to do an upgrade graphic kit.

After painting, its too flat and non shiny. What should I use over the white paint for a more glossy look. I would prefer spray in a can.

Thanks everyone.

Not shiny? Did you apply the white paint to the outside of the body?

it sounds like he did.

Yes I painted the outside of the body. It just looks very mate and I was hopping for the shiny clear coat look. I wonder if I got a can of Pearl white would that be better. Dont get me wrong its somewhat shiny but no gloss. It dosent even come close to the RTR lid as far as shine.

throw the body away and get a new one, you paint on the inside. painting rc bodys are different then painting reg stuff. someone might chime in as hopefully there is something you can put the lid in so it takes the paint off but wont damage the body but i dont know of anything

here is a good link, http://www.rchobbies.org/rc-body-painting.htm

Pactra is the name I think

Check it. I did 2 of the stupidest things that nobody can beat.

#1 Yes I painted the outside. What a dumb ASS

#2 This is worse. I forgot to peel off the protective film WTF!!!!!

I got lucky. I was so pissed I ran to my garage and I was going to take a hammer to the body. After inspecting the body (I looked at the link you provided) It didnt make sense that mine was not completely clear.

I peeled off the protective film and it all came off. I just now painted the inside and dam it looks great.

This has to be the most stupidest mistake anyone has made on these forums. I can laugh now but 15 min ago I was swearing like crazy.

LOL
