Default A MORE POWERFUL GLOW IGNIT0R????

Are there any ignitors out there that I can fit a larger MAH cell into? All of my ignitors have 1400-1600 mah cells in them and nothing else wil fit inside them. I have a bunch of spare loose cells I want to use and get longer use times using them to power my ignitors. Are there any other powerful alternatives for starting besides a starter box? I have had problems with them in the past and they are just inconvenient for me to carry around.

u can use any SUB-C cell in your glow ignitor so u can get 4600mah cell for example
in my sub-c igniters i use GP3900mah , some no name 4400mah and some 4600mah cells.

or get team Associated D size battery iginiter (blue) . amain has them for example. I have one and put 7000mah battery in it

in AA igniters i got Sanyo 2700mah battery

+1 on Wallot comment I have the same 3900 and I can use that one a complete weekend with no problems. Plus I have the other 5 cells charged as well so I would just have to replace one. It was from an old stick pack I had with an EMaxx.

I use the Magnum Glow Starter w/o charger with sub-cs from old racing packs. I use my NiMH charger to charge the battery at 1 amp. My charger does 1-8 cells.

Check that out. The cell isnt interchangeable but its a D cell size. I really like the Hot Shots as they seem to out perform and outlast most others Ive had especially the ones with the removable cells which never seem to last long nor glow as bright I think that is because the electricity must flow through the area where the halves screw together.

So those type of ignitors are used till the cell dies and thats it or is it rechargeable?

They come with wall chargers. Its got a little transformer with basically a fake glow plug on the end you attach to the ignitor.

I use my multi-charger and a charge lead like this one for faster charging
