Edit-Hex tool spins inside of handle..???
 

Hey all, I got 2 Edit Hex tools.. an 1.5mm and 2mm I have a issue with them. If I try and tighten up and Hex.. I can get it reasonably tight, but then if I try to make it nice and tight.. the handle turn's but the Shaft dosnt.. so It wont tighten anymore, So I have to use a allen Key to tighten it up more. I have tightend the grub screw in the handle.. as hard as I can and still no difference, and Put some threadlock on and nothing.. what could be the issue??:rolleyes:

Is the set screw actually hitting the shaft? I would remove the set screw and pull the shaft out, if the set screw is touching the shaft there should be a mark. If the shaft is spinning against the set screw that mark will be all the way around.

Now sorted, Found a new allen key.. and made them super tight.. now seems to hold.. thanks though!

I had a set screw actually break and would not grab the bit. I think it broke from over tightening. May have just been a brittle screw.

i loctite those screws as soon as i get new tools, make sure the spot that you tighten the set screw onto is flat
