That's cool because i've got the bls351 for my steering. Do you know how much it is, and where I can get it from?

BLS 451 all the way, best servo's I have ever used.

I run the normal s9451. Plenty of torque and lightning fast. I believe the current version is the s9542. I have used them for throttle in buggy and truggy for over 2 years and still running great. The BLS ones look really nice, but not sure they are worth the extra $$ over the normal corless ones.

I switched from the 9451 to the BLS451. Seems smoother and it'd very quick. Got mine at a LHS in pa. for 95 bucks.

x2
I have like 10 of these. I use them for throttle/brake in all my nitro stuff, and steering in all my electric stuff. Great servos. I haven't made the jump to the BL 451 but I hear they are real good too. Too many regular 451's yet...

I use the 9351 for steering in my 8th scale buggies and truggies.

You can also look at the ACE/ Associated servoes. They use the same spline as Futaba. Have a look at the DS1015.

I run the bls 351 on steering and throttle no issues have ruffly 6 mths on them. love em!

I'm sure the 351 is killer as Ryan siad. I swear by the 9351's myself.

DOMIT 02-25-2009 03:35 PM

Just one question though: Why Futaba only? There are a lot of good servos out there, from a lot of manufacturers. If I was going to go and buy a servo for throttle OR steering, I'd get the newer version of the Hitec I run on steering currently.
