Default Mini Inferno 09 needle adjust

I've just bought it (sirio 09 engine, 16% fuel) and need some opinions about adjusting the carburator: I have the mix needle at 3 entire laps from its close position, as the manual says. Its the minimum configuration that they recomend but with this adjust the nitro engine just isn't hot, it has no power and the fuel tank gets empty in about the half of full estimated time.

I have the gas trimmed a bit because if I put it neutral the engine stops, and the carburator opening seems to be correct at that position.

The idle needle its fully closed, and even in that position the engine stops if i press the gas to reverse (brake position).

Should I adjust the mix needle until the engine gets hot and releases power, without taking care of manual?

I have a couple of these cars and have a hard time keeping them running for long as they do seem to get hot enough. I just bought some new glow plugs (hot) for them, hopefully that will help.

Default 30

Run 30% nitro, it wont hurt it I have over a gallon of 30 in the motor and it is just starting to run real good. The motor has only one needle and the drive line is so tight it wont let the motor over rev. Just hold the car off the ground and rev and lean until it hits full power and then richen 1 hour. It works for this motor but I am not recommending you try it on other motors.

I have run mine on 20% & 25%. I think the 16% is too low IMO, even though its a small engine.
