i've used this method on my polished pipe. But is it safe to do on hard coated pipes?

You guys are nuts! anit freeze in a croc pot - please tell me you dont turn around and cook in that thing, LOL - In all my years of RC racing I never heard of that before -WOW learn something new everyday, I guess

I've been using anti-freeze in a crockpot for several months now on coated and polished pipes (and other things). Forget about scrubbing with steel wool... you just rinse them off after the crockpot.
