Losi Nitrotane is VERY good fuel. I run 20% race with my 8 rtr and 427 engine. Runs cool, easy to tune, reliable. If you can get the sport 20%, get that. But if you can only get the race 20% it will be fine. Just dont run the race as lean as there isnt as much oil.

you can run 20% it has more oil so you engine will run a bit hotter and will have a tick less power......i would use 30% if you can......i use Trinity and really like it, but other than that i think i would use o'donnel or byrons gen2

Sorry I shouldn't have used that word, but on the other hand I'm not the one with 3 posts mouthing off already. And don't talk about a friendly forum when you make comments like you did before. We where just trying to help you not make a bad decision. If you were going to be really serious about racing, it would have been in your best interests to get the kit.

It would be better to actually buy the kit. You can pick up a good racing engine 149 for a good starting novarossi. As the plus side on the kit, your getting better performance parts.
