I can't believe how good these buggy's are. I bought mine about 3 months ago. I have done 3 race meets and broken nothing!! They are sooo strong and are fantastically competitive. I had never driven a buggy until i got mine. After 2 race meets i am overall 1st By 1 point!!
I would like to hear a few stories on these buggy's people. So C'mon here and post post post!! And also Pics would be fantastic!!!

I've had mine for about a year now. I have raced it countless amount of times
at atleast five different tracks without breaking a single part. Could you ask
for more?

I think its crazy that used MBX5Rs are selling for as cheap as $150. Its still really competitive, everyone one just jumps for the newer stuff as soon as it comes out.

Hard to tell, what's the surface, and what do you prefer?
Stock is 5-7-2 I believe, if you want more on power steering try 7-7-2. Increase weight in the rear if the surface is loose.
Mine is setup for snow and ice, I currently run 5-5-5, seems ok, quite neutral.
Combined with 30 front susp with progressive soft springs and 25 rear with long soft springs.
On dry track I've been happy with 5-7-2, stock springs and 40-35 damper oil. This is quite safe to start with.

My MBX5 - prospec - updated to R+

Parts of my track, last spring:

Last pic also shows my brother trying to break his old X1CRT-rtr.
Setups I've told works on this track, cant't promise same results on yours
