Trade in your buggy for a truggy!

Ok, serious answer:

Yes, tires and throttle finger are huge items.

Lighter clutch springs (engage at lower RPM so it doesn't "hit" as hard.)

Carbon shoes instead of aluminum (slip a bit more on engagement)

Go up a tooth on the clutchbell (higher gearing means less torque applied to the wheels.)

Longer Rear Camber Link, More Rear Toe In & I think more anti squat might help also.

Tires and center diff affect your forward traction. Higher center diff oil will accelerate harder out of corners and straights, but give up some turning in and cornering off power. Always watch for wheel spin. Too much throttle or incorrect/crappy tires will does this, and of course, surface is the other factor.

More anti squat, stand your shocks up more, lighter shock oil & springs, lighter diff oils, carbon shoes and springs.

I think Panther tires offer good forward traction because of the weaker sidewall you get the dragster traction the tire folds a bit getting a bigger footprint. The sacrifice of the weak sidewall not good for cornering. I now use AKAs firm sidewall and foams will get you around the corner faster.

Or an OS Speed will do the trick.

No one talked about front Droop.

If you increase your front droop (more up & down arm movement) then when you accelerate more weight is transferred to the rear to help forward traction.

I think the questions need to be awnsered first.Where do yo want more forward traction? from the front or rear? On the straight or exiting corners? Do you want the car to snap straight when you whack the throttle or simply pull harder but follow the same arc.I know it sounds odd to ask but your not asking about traction going into corners are you? I know what forward traction means to me,but my mind may not think just like yours. First thing to reallize is a car with the right tires only has a certian amount of total traction & all you can do is move the traction around the car giving up some here to get more there. When you know where & when you want traction its as simple as reading the BIBLE(rc bible) & heres your link to it. Print, memorize & always have it with your car AT ALL TIMES.

Increasing front droop will allow more weight to transfer to the rear tires when you accelarate improving foward traction. Moving the rear hubs foward will also put more weight on the rear tires improving rear traction. Heavier center diff fluid will also help foward traction but can make the car harder to drive.

Tires come first. Make sure you are running the right tires before anything else.

I agree with tires. Adjusting droop and rear hubs will increase front to rear weight bias, so what you gain in one area, you loose in another. Same for the center diff.
