os pipe question
ok.... im currently running a speed hence my sig below, my question is i have a few pipes that i run , one being a jp-3 and the other being a ebmods 2041!
whatare the performance differences between the 2! i notice the jp3 seems a little faster i think:confused: but lack runtime and the 2041 i can get 10 min off of! what will these 2 pipes do for me? |
OS 2060 is probably the best matched pipe for the Speed motors.

i found the jp3 to be a little soft on the top end on a speed, had great bottom. i have seen the 2041 on a few guys cars at the track and they look really strong bottom and top on the speed, i liked the jp3 on a truggy when i was running the speeds, i preffered the 2060 most of the time on buggies

i tried the 2050 on a speed it really didnt seem to work well at all, had to really lean it down to get any power with it
|
That's because you want the 2060 for the speed and 2050 for the V-spec...:nod::nod:

i was just wondering....... the 2041 is a sweet pipe from the performance im getting out of it , just seemed to be a little soft on bottom....... i havent run the jp3 in awhile and wondered if i were missing anything that the jp3 could offer

the jx is definatley a bad a$$ motor w/ eb button and the 2060 it has more then enough power to throw a truggy around

IMO the EB pipe produces a little more power with the same feel as a 2060 but got just a hair less mileage which is probably just a by product of producing more power.
I went back to the 2060 though just because the OS pipes are so incredibly durable. My 2060 is a year old and has been in my car almost the entire time and I just periodically pull it clean it and polish it back up. It looks as good as new still. I have a 2050 in my box that is 2 or 3 years old same story looks like new still. When I tried the 2050 on the Speed I was unimpressed it seems to work better on the V-Spec. Now I have the JX Ninja and run the 2060. I have another Ninja as a back-up and I think when the time comes I am going to run it with the 2050 pipe as I have a friend who uses that combo and it looks like his car has noticeably more bottom end with no lack in top end. Its going to be a little while till I get to try that combo though since winter hasnt ended here yet. |

Don't forget this guy already has the speed and is looking for a good pipe/header combo.
But yes the Ninja is sweeeet. |

You can get em on ebay for $50 + like $10 shipping. Thats where I got mine. Very nice pipe and for the price you can't beat it as the 2060 is like $170. I run the eb pipe or a jp-3 on my v-spec in my truggy. I am tempted to try the new losi re11 which appears to be a more durable, less expensive os 2050. I just can't justify spending $170 for the 2060.
