i do not think that there will be a new car.. probably just a kit with all of the updates.. this is my opinion obviously

I was talking to a guy sponsored by HB's the other night at our track, and I asked him the same question. He looked at me crazy and said "Why? It's the best buggy in the world right now, theres no need for them to come out with a new one...."
I almost cried, i was so happy....lol

I think there will be a new car down the road but based on the original release of the car I think it wont be for some time. Until then the good news is AE is constantly working on developing new parts and I think its pretty safe to say when they find something that works they put it into production and sell it rather than hold onto it until a whole new car is ready. Theoretically we could all upgrade our cars to the newest specs before the new car is even produced.

I spoke with a Team Driver this weekend at the race. He said they are definately working on a new car, but he couldn't tell me anything about it. He did say they are working on new AE Shock Towers, and he also said that Extreme Racing is making a great carbon tower for the RC8T rear tower upgrade for the buggy.
My car was dialed all weekend, only thing I have not done is the rear tower. I think I will wait for the new towers that they are working on.

Someone said the newest tanks are breaking in the bottom where the insert is screwed in. I havent seen this personally as race season hasnt started yet. I have a new car built ready to go with a gen 3 tank and a spare gen 3 tank just in case. The newest tank came without the insert in it directly from AE.

I have 2 hours of run time on my G3 tank, and no problems.
