Starter boxes

I am getting an 8ight race roller buggy and need a starter box. I know about the losi box but have heard there have been problems and its a little expensive compared to others I have seen. I wanted to know if something like the dynamite quickfire or ofna chrome top box would work?

they will both work... the ofna box is good and you can pick one up pretty cheap

I heard so many recommendations for the OFNA Truggy box (solid blue, not chrome top) that I ordered one.

That's all I have to contribute here. I haven't even received it yet.

Carry on.

if u plan on only runnin losi get the losi box so you dont have to worry about aligning and everythin. there are no problems with the losi box. if people say different its because they dont know how to use a s.b....

Does anyone know if I will have to do any aligning if I got a chrome top or quickfire?

What about the losi universal starter box?

GH Racing 02-09-2009 09:13 PM

I would recommend the Ofna Truggy Box

fatdaddy 02-09-2009 09:23 PM

i have the ofna chrome top box, and let me tell you. that thing is a beast, and will start up anything with ease. but its a pain to setup a vehicle to it, and not easily adjusted. if i had a buggy and a truggy i would get the ofna truggy box. that thing looks sweet

+10,000 on the truggy box.
set it up one time and your done.
it doesnt take much to figure it out.

then you just have to loosen one screw and move it back and forth from buggy to truggy right?
