I just got a jato 3.3 my previous car was a revo i had it for about a year and never had a problem i get the jato and right after the break in i hit something and break the whole front end the revo i hit all kinds of stuff and never broke anything is there any upgrade parts to beef up the jato where is the best place to buy them

Save your money and put the stock parts on. And stop hitting stuff. They do have brakes you know.:sneaky:

A lot of people swear by RPM stuff. He pretty much specializes in Traxxas parts. They are plastic, but they're good plastic and they seem to outlast stock plastic parts... and they're not that expensive considering they're upgrades.

Avoid the temptation to go with aluminum upgrades. If you have an impact, plastic will rebound but aluminum will bend. A bent aluminum arm is as bad as a broken plastic one, and the aluminum arm costs a lot more.

Certain pieces are designed to be a failure point. The plastic bumper, for example, is meant to rebound (or break if the impact is so hard). If it were aluminum and had the same impact, you'd break a lot more parts behind the bumper.

I have the same Jato you have and I strongly believe that Traxxas did it the right way out of the box. RPM plastic parts and Lunsford turnbuckles are the only chassis upgrade parts that most people swear by. Avoid Integy (especially the shocks) and many of the others.
