Have you tried your local Caster dealer????

OR done a google search for 'pull start repair'??????

I remember seeing a nice pictoral on pull start rewinding and repair on one of the forums several years ago - hopefully Google can help you find it!

I do not know how to repair the pullstart. Most people do not repair them anyways and move on to bumpstarts. I do know if you do not have the GO engine in your Caster then you have the Force .21 motor in it (IF IT IS THE STOCK MOTOR THAT CAME WITH IT). That is a motor you can get Parts for from OFNA and should be able to get a pullstart if you cannot get one from Caster.

The pull starts from other brands will also work.
Like the VTX, Bazzooka, HPI Savage, OFNA .....etc..
The Savage has Force engines so is the same and should be easier one to get.

There is a lesson on youtube. Just search rc pull start repair. I tried to repair one on a hyper 7. After an hour or so I gave up. I just went with the roto start back plate instead of the pull.
