Unhappy I can't remove my shocks. n00b alert.

n00b alert.

I'm trying to remove the shocks from my Mugen MBX-5 Prospec. I removed the nut and screw from the shock tower and that went fine. I removed the screw from the lower arm.

I can't get the shock out of the arm. I can see what looks like a metal ball joint or something down in there. I even took a screwdriver and hammer to the underside of it and it still won't come out. All four of the shocks are like this.

wtf.

Thanks.

Take a hex driver from the top of the arm, and slide it under the arm. Then push the hex driver down and it should come off. Just need a little elbow grease.

Fasten the shock back onto the shock tower, leave the bottom screw out. Then push down hard on the suspension arm, should pop right out. You might have to relieve the droop adjustment screws if the arms wont go down far enough, depends on what your setup is like. If you do be sure to re-set your droop.
