Receiver question
Ok I got a new radio for my 8ight (a jr xr21) and the receive is very weird. First the slots where you plug in your servo wires and your batterie are very small. I sanded the edges of each to get it in there. Now when I get everything in it seems like there is no power getting to anything. I charged my pack for 2 hours still nothing. If this matters I dont have my motor in yet, I just wanted to see if everything worked. Does anyone know??

did you plug them in the other way around to see if you had them backwards. the plugs have visible metal on one side. try them up then try them down. my best guess

Make sure you have the battery lead connect in the correct slot in the receiver. Then make sure the black wire from the battery is facing towards the outside of the receiver when you plug it in.

The correct placement of the wires is white, red, black from the inside of the case to the outside. If you pluged it in backwards, the negative would be where the signal wire is supposed to go so it wouldn't work. You may want to get some hands on advise from an experienced rc driver. It is really easy to fry electronics, have runaways, burn up motors, etc. if you don't know what you are doing. |
ya would it help if I took some close up pics so you guys could see?

If that first yellow/red wire is your power then it is wired wrong, if it is a servo then I only see 2 wires on it.
Hard to tell from your photo and color codes. On the R135 the bat connection is at the top. - on the outside + in the center Let me try to help. First, the black/brown/-lead is always to the out side. servos will be 3 wires with black/brown/- always on the outside For power it would have 2 wires. + and -. the - would be on the outside. the + would be directly next to that on the center pin. Even with the bad photo I can tell you it is wrong. Have you been doing some custom wiring??? |
That picture scared the hell put of me. WTF!
|
From that fuzzy pic you have I can tell you that the first connector is wrong. The red wire should Not be facing towards the outside of your receiver. I can't see the rest of the connectors with that pic.
