whats a blue grooved track? any pics?

Blue groove tracks generally consist of a hard dirt thats been ran enough that rubber has come off the tire and layered the dirt in a "blue" film. Very High traction, very bad tire life.

exactly. that blue tint on the hard packed and dry track is a film of tire rubber that has worn into or fused with the dirt from the numerous cars speeding throug it. They usually form on the fast line around the track.

only the best frikin racing there is!!!! in denver there is a small electric track (mhor) that has 22 years of rubber mixed in with the dirt. if you're good, and can stay in the "groove", you can run slicks. accually pink tapers that you take a dremal sanding drum to and make them slicks. smells bad but worth it, "big time"!!!!
