Don't go buying ceramics for every bearing in the truck; absolute overkill. Ceramics are good for engine bearings and clutch bearings where high rpm and high heat are present and will last noticeably longer in those applications. For wheel hub bearings and diff bearings and such, it's just wasted money.

For the rest, just get some of those tube o' bearings from Carolinas or Amain. I usually buy the "hybrid" bearings that have a metal shield on one side and the rubber shield on the other. It's a decent compromise between friction and keeping dirt out of the bearings.

Looking for new bearings, please check out Boca Bearing. Great people to deal with and fast shipping with bearings always in stock. They even have free regular shipping. They have everything from the inexpensive Econo's to the High End Ceramics. I run the Green Seals and they are awesome, free rolling with rubber shields to keep out the elements.

Here are the links for 8ight/ 8ight T bearings:

Avid bearings or Ready Roller bearings, $1 each, GREAT bearings and cheap.
Just replace when needed and throw away the old ones!
