MBX5 Prospec flywheel worn/smooth, wearing starter box wheel
My MBX5 Prospec has a worn flywheel. My starter box has trouble gripping it and I've quickly worn a groove into the starter box wheel. Add a little fuel spillage on a typical day and it won't even turn the engine over once. It's basically become a real pain to start and a pit guy volunteer is going to have an even harder time than I do.
I've considered taking my Dremel to the flywheel and lightly "re-grooving" it so that it doesn't look like a worn out U.S. quarter.
If I need to replace the flywheel, what are my options? I know I can use a Mugen replacement, but I also heard I can use an Ofna one. Are there any aftermarket flywheels?
Any other suggestions?
Thanks!

There are many other flywheels that will fit. The key is making sure to get the same size as your stocker.
You also have the option of running a complete aftermarket clutch setup as well that includes a flywheel and shoes..etc...
