depends on how much you race .....normally i can get 2 race weekends on a gallon ...thats practice both weeks 3 quals per weekend and the lower and upper main events each weekend ....others will probably be different ,,,,depends on the amount you practice ....all will be different ....

The motor/pipe combo, tune, and driving style will affect fuel consumption greatly.

I normally average 3 races per gallon in the summer and 4 in the winter. There are both indoor and outdoor tracks in our area, so our race season lasts all year, with only a few weekends off.

do the math. - truggy ->
1 tank = 150ml = ~10 minutes = ~900ml (~1 quart) per hour

czech nationals - 5x qualifier = 5x5+3 = 40minutes, 1/4 final 15+3 = 18minutes, 1/2 final 20+3=23minutes and if lucky 30+3final = 33 = total 114minutes so about 2litres of fuel x 6 races per season = 12liters or about 3 gallons x two clases

then of course ton of other races with some of them being 3x10+3 qual = 33minutes + 20minute final so about hour of runtime 5 time a season

it really depends how many races you plan to run and fuel cost is the least to worry about. all the travel expenses (car fuel, accommodation), car parts, tires are way more

yes it is quite expensive hobby

In 1/10th gas truck I get 12-13 minutes per 75 ml tank. 1 tank of practice before a club race, 3 5 minute quals, then a 15 minute main and I don't even use a quart. So I maybe go through 2 gallons per season in gas truck and double that in 1/8th buggy.
