XB808 vs XB8 EC thread

Looking at the differences between the 808 and the EC. Does anyone own both and can you give me the main changes.

The 808 is a whole new layout compared to the EC, but some of the main changes would be the drive train, big bore shocks, and the chassis configuration, and there are many more changes but those are some of the main changes. The 808 is also alot more forgiving when setup changes are made. Hope this helps!!!

XB8 EC is outdated, and will be hard to get parts for soon. 808 is more money, but has lots of graphite, is the lightest buggy on the market. full of Hudy spring steel, better plastics, better handling and jumping do to lowered center of gravity, and more balanced.

My main concern is handling and wear comparisons. The XB8 seems like a very durable car but handling is not the easiest to get dialled.

I've had both and the 808 is far superior in handling, its a 99% redesign. The wear on arms and pins and chassis is similar, but bearings are more important to maintain on the 808. In my opinion the 808 is stronger and breaks less because its so light, its just not heavy enough to beat itself to death.
