I haven't done any high speed cornering yet but I did notice when I am rolling at mid throttle maybe 20-25 mph and I go WOT the back end sinks and it takes off where before I would get some sway in the back tires before they planted - My nephew is getting a vxl rustler with a venom 7 cell 5000mAh for Christmas and we are gonna race - I am gonna video tape it and I will post the link to it on here the day after Christmas so you guys can see how the car runs with the wing

If you look around every companys wings are different widths so if you think that 1 is too big there or smaller you try different ones.

I made my own mount...it is just a thin piece of black plastic that I screwed into the tower and then drilled holes into it to mount the wing...I will take a pic tonight to show...

i just have to ask.
why are you going to race a rustler i had one and tried every mod possible to make it more race able could get performance out of it to match a t4 or xxx-cr????

honestly I bought a rustler in the beggining with no racing intentions but as I got used to it and became a better driver I started thinking of racing...as far as the racing I was talking about this is more of a bash style race but I do plan on racing at the LHS track this coming year...whether I use this rustler or not mainly depends on whether I buy a better car by then...but I do like the rustler

Like I said, I used the existing holes and made my own mounting plate simply out of a black piece of flat plastic - drilled some holes and mounted the wing mount to it - I flipped it today and it stayed on strong just scraped up the side of the wing a little - Race results Nitro Rustler 1 VXL Rustler 0

More racing this sunday and yes their will be video.
