I don't think servo motors are rebuildable or able to be cut. but I could be wrong.

Just save 70-100 bucks and get a new one. Even if you do find someone with the proper tooling and knowledge to perform the work there is no guarantee this will make the servo work better.

Have you ever has a servo apart? The motor is smaller than a fingernail, there is no way you'll be able to cut that.

Your best bet would be to send it in for repair, or better yet, buy a new one.

No way I will fix it, you guys have to much money to just throw away a good servo just because the comm needs a cut.

Here's a pic I took of one of my old servos I took apart to see how it worked. For reference, that is just a plain normal thumb tack.

That little thing sticking up out of the center is the com from the servo. it was a Futaba S9351.

Default Send in or replace...

LMB,

Either send the servo back to Mfg for repair, or just replace servo. There is no comm truing service for servo motors. If there were, it would cost a lot more to true it than to just replace.

Otherwise, quit trolling....

Easy now. We are trying to help you with the best advice we can give, and from a money-saving standpoint. Besides, if you have already decided you are going to fix it, then why are you asking for opinions?

I'm chilled bro, just didnt want to throw away something which is perfectly good and can be fixed.

I cleaned up the comm, checked the brushes and cleaned the carbon out of the case. Works like new now, all the power in the world.
