I have a Hot Bodies lightning with a os .30 about 1/2 gallons just need a radio and servo equipment i would sell for $225.00 the truck has like 2 gallons on it and the engine like a half gallon

truggy

I would suggest the Losi 8T rtr, it comes with a decent engine (mach 427), a spektrum radio (no interference), and it is durable. I'm not a huge Losi fan (not that they're bad), but if you are just getting in to the hobby, that is probably the best setup to start with.

+1 for losi. Great engine, DSM radio, decent steering servo, very race worthy if you do decide you want to race, and parts are available at almost every hobby shop.

Mugen MBX5t is bullet proof.

i vote for the jammin crt x2 the are way easy to get than the others and ofna don't change every year where the parts hard to find

Thopper 12-30-2008 06:47 AM

The Mugen MBX5T is a great truggy but they don't make it anymore. At the end of the run you could buy one for 375.00 or so. Now the losi Race roller 8T 1.0 is at the end of its run and can be had a great price 275.00 to 325.00 on e-bay...best deal out there at the moment. Amain HAD them for 299.00 for awhile.

No doubt 8t..mbx5t wouldnt be bad either..8t rtr bought new is good to go for a couple gallons..just put the steering servo on throttle and get a $100 steering servo put on the steering, set up the epas and your set

jamminnay 12-30-2008 06:24 PM

probably the 8t would be the best deal! servo upgrades will be a must

8&stuff 12-30-2008 06:42 PM

to be honest my rtr was easier to set up than my race roller 8t..by the time i sold the rtr it was all race roller xept chassis..it has taken me twice as long to get my race roller racing than was my rtr, for tracks that i race.
