the RB RT28 would be ok...but gear it hi and put in a really small venturi to get alittle better gas milage, and more controllable power...so you are not spinning the tires so much...goto like a 14 tooth or 15 tooth CB

if you are looking into novarossi's I would suggest looking at the plus 21-5k available from amain for $270 right now(normally retails for $335) I would also suggest looking into an os v-spec or even better a jx21 ninja available from amain for $300.

Picco P3 .28 wil have strong bottom end power if you like to power drive your truggy then that's the engine, in my X2 I have the P3 and an P7R Evo II I tend to use more of my Evo II for racing but when I want mad juice I go to my P3 at this time the P3 is working well with Bowties but if I use Holeshots or Gators then I go back to my Evo II it makes the powerband alot smoother and makes traction to the wheels alot better.

P3 is the .28, Picco also has a new .21 called the P7 EVOIII, the .21 EVO II is more than enough.

if it was me i would save up and wait till you can afford a new one, you really have no way of knowing how the break in went and how its been maintained, that would be a good choice for a truggy engine

I would recommend staying away from used motors, That P3 is what i believe the new LRP .21 is based off of, it is very strong, i have seen the LRP run in person, i was impressed, i would start off with a new motor though, the C6 is good, a little to smooth for me in truggy, I use the .JX .21 modded

The new LRP is identical to the P7R engines....the P3R is a cheaper 3 port version of the engines....... JPX 21=LRP 21

Max, i thought it was, have you been into a LRP yet, the one i saw looked nothing like a Picco performance wise, meaning The LRP had much more everywhere.
