Default Orion Wasp CRF .21 engine

I remember a thread about this some time ago but couldn`t find it . Anyway it seems to be hard to find the Orion turbo glow plugs . I remember some saying the O.S. plugs fit but a controversy if the taper is correct for this engine . Anyone know for sure which plugs work with this engine ? I know they are a Picco based engine and not sure if my LHS has Picco plugs and sure they don`t have any Orion plugs .

Thanks for any help .

I use the Odonnell 97t on the Jammin Picco engine. I would think it would be a good choice.

The OD plug referenced above has an OS taper on it.I only use os & od plugs in my piccos with no problems. Orion ? Picco & OS tapers are suppose to be different & some say dont switch or button will be damaged due to taper being forcefully reshaped, again IDK I have only run the picco plugs that came with the motors during breakin & tried 2 RB plugs & know for sure RB leaks really bad in MY picco. I paid $6 each for the last batch of OD plugs & $5 for the batch before that.I use 77T & 97T medium & medium/hot, if I rember right they felt like a P4 & P6 OS but its been a while since I spent $10+ on OS plugs. OD tunes good, lasts long & is cheap. Your milage may vary.

I recommend Picco to be the best fit for this motor....currently getting over 11 minutes from the 21 CRF using a Picco med/hot

I'm using a JP4 in mine and it has more than enough power for your needs. Smooth powerband and decent runtime in a buggy, about 7:45min a tank.

smallest insert in the carb, and a p3, and a jp3 i get close to 8.5 min insane power and an rpm band that never stops.. if you take the head off and install a od77t or any od plug for that matter you will see that the odonell plugs dont fit as well as the os... the taper of the plug to the taper of the head button fits the best on on os plug... my 2 cents
