Ive used most of the wings that are out and i cant really feel the difference. To me the one i like the best is the Losi 8 wing with the air diverters to keep the down force consistant. Like race cars.
The Pro line wings are good to but have not done any testing with the standard and hi down force version.

Thank you for the advice .I have heard though that the cobra wing keeps the downforce consistant more that others and its been designed to work properly .Apparently i dont know if its true or not but a guy by the name of Mike kazz i think thats what his name is can't stop talking about the wing how true that is i dont know ive just read about it in other forums.

i want to buy but buy the best i dont want to go backwards.

aerodynamics really doesnt start taking effect until 37-38 MPH, the wing is more or less just added weight on the rear to stabilize the buggy in the air.

I like the JConcepts wing. My 8ight felt better with it on there. I would have to say it jumped better. Plus I think their design is less prone to breakage.

I don't know about how they affect the handling, but the Proline wing is TOUGH. "Captain Crash" tested and approved!

I do know that the high downforce wing that Ofna and Proline make ,work pretty well. At my track, the wind cuts right down our main large double double and the wind plus the speed of the truggy damn near makes you do a back flip. That is even letting off the throttle before the end of the jump. I ran mine until the winds started to kick in. Now I run a very thin thundertiger wing. No problems. The other guys went back to the stock Jammin little wing. The hi downforce wings do work!

High downforce? Just take your existing wing and use the adjustment screws to alter it's angle.

High Downforce wings actually create more rear-lift in an air tunnel. Just go by which one looks the best to you.

He speaks the truth, it's very unlikely that you'll notice a difference between two different wings.

As far as the 8ight's stock wing is concerned, I've heard it actually flaps up and down a bit due to the design...I've ran those JConcepts washers which are noticeably bigger in actual size but smaller in diameter where the wing holds on to help stop that a bit, just incase that holds true. Besides, I like how the stock wing looks on the 8ight

i have heard that the shorter the airfoil of the wing example chord of less than 77mm works better. above 77mm causes lift of the rear of the buggy.

Really ? Ever jump a big tripple or quad without a wing ? I notice a difference with HD wings .

Scale speed, 35 mph for a 1/10 scale is equivalent to 350mph for a 1/1 car. Aero starts to work anywhere from 50-70 on a 1/1 car. Different wings will have an effect on the flight and handling of the car not matter what, you almost need to try them all and see which one you like.
